With Autodesk Revit MEP and Revit Structure, Søren Jensen Rådgivende Ingeniørfirma, a firm of Danish consulting engineers, has taken an ambitious step over to Building Information Modelling (BIM). Despite the current lack of a Danish engineering standard for Revit, the company management believes Revit is the right choice.

Z Corp first off the blocks with 3D printing from Revit

 At this year’s American Institute of Architects’ 2008 National Convention, Z Corp made the first public demonstration of the STL Exporter for Autodesk’s Revit Building BIM platform. Developed by Autodesk with support from Z Corp, this new software utility lets architects, engineers and designers “3D print” physical models of buildings and projects created in Revit.
